Dr. Andrew Kane is the Worldwide Tech Leader for AI Services in the AI/ML WW Specialist Organization. He has focused mainly on AI Language Services since 2019, and before that had been actively involved in both Networking and Security. Before joining AWS at the beginning of 2015, Andrew spent almost 2 decades working in the fields of signal processing, financial software, payments systems, weapons tracking, and editorial and publishing systems, but now he is focusing primarily on Generative AI, notably the secure use of such technologies. He lives in a small village in Buckinghamshire in the UK with his wife and two children, is an avid home brewing enthusiast, and is studying a part-time degree in Astronomy and Planetary Science.
